Prishtina Postcard Project is a series of 10 postcards, 14.9 x 10.5 cm each. I started this project as a way to introduce my friends to the city I live in: Prishtina.
Although I decided not to use any photography on these postcards, I still continued taking pictures of the things I felt were interesting or a characteristic of Prishtina so I could use certain elements of them for my designs.
All these postcards are based on something around the city (see some of the pictures here) — coffee shops, international influences, architectural references from various buildings, public transportation, travel agencies, improvised souvenir shops on the street, cell phone and electronic shops, names and signs of clothing boutiques, typographic references, the shape of the city, etc.
